Unity Jiu Jitsu offers you top-level instruction and training. We teach techniques that have been proven to work, passing on what we’ve learned as well as our own style that we’ve developed over many years of training.

Our free Introductory Class ensures that everyone enters a regular class comfortably and with a basic understanding of Jiu Jitsu. The class consists of one 45-minute lesson required for anyone new to Jiu Jitsu.

Our Women’s Program is integrative, meaning we have taken measures to ensure that gender isn’t an issue for getting the best training possible. We want women in all our classes, and in any given class you will have the option of training with another female, should you want to.

Adult Programs (ages 13 & up)

Open Drilling

DURATION: 60 min


NOT CURRENTLY ON THE SCHEDULE

This is a free-drilling class for those of us who need more drilling time (meaning, all of us). Come in and drill the techniques you most want to work on or review! An instructor will be on hand to correct technique and answer questions.

Open to all levels and ages. This is a gi class.

Foundation Program

DURATION: 60 min


From white belts to world champions, take these classes to clean up the core aspects of your Jiu Jitsu. Come to brush up on your details, correct any bad habits, or trouble shoot your basics. These classes are instruction and drilling only. We launch right into the moves with an instructor there to answer all your questions.

Open to all levels.  This is a gi class.

Jiu-Jitsu Class

DURATION: 90 min/120 min


This class focuses on comprehensive, well-rounded approach to Jiu Jitsu development. It consists of a teaching progression including basic conditioning, skill-building drills, movement drills, technique explanation and demonstration, situational training, and live Jiu Jitsu sparring.

Open to all levels. This is a gi class.

No Gi Class

DURATION: 90 min


This is our No Gi version of the Jiu Jitsu Class, traditionally run to include basic conditioning, skill-building drills, movement drills, technique explanation and demonstration, situational training, and live Jiu Jitsu sparring.

Open to all levels. This is a no-gi class.

If you plan on wearing spats/leggings, please know that you will be required to wear shorts or pants on over them.

Pro Training

DURATION: 150 min


Practice run by No Gi Open Weight World Champion, Murilo Santana.

This is a practice session for blue belt or above. While there is minimal instruction, this is NOT an open mat. Practice normally consists of an hour or more hard drilling, followed by an hour or more of hard sparring. Participants are expected to push themselves. You don’t have to be in shape, you just have to try your hardest. Situational sparring, and marathon sprawls are a part of the practice on occasion.

Arrive on time in order to hear the session plan before we begin. Anyone arriving more than 15 mins late will not be allowed to participate. Please plan on staying for the entire practice. The rule is if you sit out a round, you’re done for the day.

First Time Visitors: Please arrive at least 20 mins early to get set up!

Always best to bring both gi and no gi training gear, as we change the training depending on upcoming competitions.

If you plan on wearing spats/leggings, please know that you will be required to wear shorts or pants on over them.

Gi & No Gi Class

Duration: 60 mins


This class is optional gi or no gi, and the instructor will adapt the lesson as necessary. There’s technique, drilling and sparring.

Open to all levels. This is an optional gi class, so please come prepared with both gi and no gi training gear if you’re able to.

If you plan on wearing spats/leggings, please know that you will be required to wear shorts or pants on over them.

Competition Class

Duration: 90 mins


NOT CURRENTLY ON THE SCHEDULE

This class consists of hard drilling and hard sparring, all under the watchful eye of blackbelt world champion Murilo Santana. Work on your competition techniques and tactics, while getting in competition shape.

Open to all levels and ages. Mat fee applies.

Always best to bring both gi and no gi training gear, as we change the training depending on upcoming competitions.

If you plan on wearing spats/leggings, please know that you will be required to wear shorts or pants on over them.

White Belt Only Class

Duration: 60 mins


Special class just for white belts.

Take this class to work on the core aspects of your Jiu Jitsu.  These classes are instruction and drilling only. We launch right into the moves with an instructor there to answer all your questions.
